Description

Disabling "Allow people to post comments on new articles " within the the discussion options is ignored when a new post is created using the mobile app.

proposed a core patch ​http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/18566 that enables us to properly set the discussion settings within the 'setting' screen of the mobile app.

WordPress? 3.4 will include the discussion options in the getOption XML-RPC call. We need to postpone this ticket till a beta of 3.4 will be available.
